Claudia was born and raised in Guatemala. She came to Chicago 15 years ago and has 3 beautiful daughters who are completely bilingual.  Although she has a degree in Industrial Design with a major in Fashion, Claudia has been working as a teacher for more than 20 years. She has worked with children as young as six months and as old as sixteen. A lot of her experience has been teaching Art to kids in the age range of two to twelve, she has also been an instructor for Enrichment Techniques, Music, Drama, Science and has years of experience teaching Sign Language to babies and Toddlers and Spanish as a Foreign Language. Claudia started teaching at Lango  8 years ago and now is the proud Manager of Lango Chicago.

Melissa is from Venezuela. Everybody calls her Meli or Mel. Melissa has eight years of experience teaching English in her country and teaching Spanish here in Chicago. She has taught children and adults in schools, private lessons and at various institutes. Melissa likes watching movies, photography, reading mystery books and practicing yoga. Her favorite food is Italian.

AnaCe is from Lima, Peru. She has tons of experience working with children of different ages. She holds a BA and Post Degree in Education. Her passion is teaching and because of that she has traveled a lot and has had the opportunity to interact with children from different cultures. She likes to cook Peruvian food and enjoys the snow, but not the cold.

  Victoria Brazen

Victoria loves working with kids and is so happy that she gets to work with them every day! Victoria attended DePaul University where she majored in Spanish and Economics. She has studied in both Chile and Spain and has had the joy of getting to backpack all around Latin America. She has worked with children through the Old Town School of Music summer camps and as a daycare attendant at Church of our Savior.  She lives in Hyde Park and when she is not working she can be found playing badminton or strumming her banjo!

  Adriana Perdomo

Adriana is originally from Colombia. She has a lot of teaching experience with all ages. She loves Montessori methods and is very experienced applying this and incorporating Technology in her classes. She is passionate about teaching and she is also the proud mom of two boys. 

She currently obtained her  license as Transitional Bilingual Educator.

We are very excited to have Adriana in the Lango Team!

Xail is from Tucson Arizona from a Mexican household. She is one of our Spanish teachers and is also fluent in Sign Language and getting ready to teach both languages with Lango.

She has experience teaching young kids and also adults.

She is very funny and enthusiastic and is also an avid Bicicle builder.

  Benjamin Sims

Benjamin is a very enthusiastic teacher and is very well loved by all his students. Although he was born in the United States Benjamin lived in Mexico for a few years and was a school teacher at Mexico as well. He speaks as fluently as a native speaker and has no discernible accent.

Benjamin is very creative and his classes are full of music, art, and movement. He is really happy to belong to the Lango Family!

  Ely Segura

Ely is a little tornado of energy! She is from Puerto Rico but has traveled a lot. She lived in Boston and also in Mexico for many years. She is delighted to be in Chicago and loves teaching Spanish to Kids of all ages and incorporating music and dance to her classes. 

She is so creative that her classes are never boring. She incorporates, games, Art and movement.

Don't be surprised if your kid goes back home saying all they did was play after a class with Ely!
